The Campus Food Bank Society is an independent charity supporting University of Alberta students, faculty, staff, and alumni up to five years. We are located in SUB 1-81.

We believe students
should hunger for knowledge, not food.

Campus kitchens

Learn to cook with CFB volunteers! Cooking classes take place every second week, and all ingredients are provided.

CFB snack stations

Find a quick snack between classes at one of our snack stations! Our stations are located closer to classrooms and other high student traffic areas. Stop by and grab yourself a free snack!

Grocery bus

Need a ride to grocery stores that are farther away from campus? We run a biweekly bus trip to Superstore, T&T Supermarket, and some specialty shops on 34 Ave!

Breakfast program

We know the days get busy and students often neglect breakfast and snack breaks. On Wednesdays we give out free breakfast from 8:30 am until supplies run out!

WECAN food basket

Need low cost fruit, vegetable, or meat options? All members of the UofA campus community are welcome to access this program through the Campus Food Bank!
