Executive Director – Caitlin Phare


PageLines- MayCanDrive.jpgCaitlin Phare joined the Campus Food Bank in May of 2013.  An Alumna of the University of Alberta, Caitlin graduated in 2011 with a double major in Political Science and History.  During her time at the University, Caitlin was actively involved with a variety of student groups, and is thrilled to return to the University of Alberta Campus and have the chance to work directly with students giving back to their Campus.  Aside from her role as Executive Director, Caitlin also teaches beginner piano to help fund her own music education and her coffee habit.  In her free time, she can be found reading anything from news articles to a good book, or trying to become an avid runner.  Her favorite foods include pancakes and fresh fruit.


Assistant Executive Director (Volunteer Coordinator) – Sharyar Memon


IMG_4084Sharyar started serving the Campus Food Bank as the Volunteer Coordinator in June 2015. He completed a BSc Degree in Biology and served as the President of the Pakistani Students’ Association during his time at the University of Alberta. He was also involved with the End Malaria Initiative. To occupy his free time he started learning photography and is currently the owner and operator of Box Cube Photography. In his spare time he can be found scouting through the city for new picturesque spots or reading fantasy fiction books. When not doing either one of those things, he can be found in a kitchen cooking a spicy dish from the Indian Subcontinent or hunched on his computer building a website. Favorite foods include but are not limited to: watermelons and steak.


Assistant Executive Director (Program Coordinator) –  Kimberly Tworek


image (16)Kimberly joined the Campus Food Bank staff in July 2015. She is entering her third year of studies in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. Kimberly is also involved in the campus community through the Nursing Undergraduate Association (NUA). When not working or studying, Kimberly spends her time volunteering and is always looking for more ways to contribute to the Edmonton community. She also enjoys spending time relaxing, doing yoga, and spending quality time with friends and family. Kimberly’s’ favorite foods are watermelon and seafood.
