The Campus Food Bank is piloting no-cost grocery classes this year, in collaboration with Converse and Cook. The Fall 2018 classes are September 26, October 30th, November 7th, November 28th and December 4th from 6:00-8:00pm.
We are currently selecting Winter class dates, so please check back here at the end of Fall term!
Classes currently take place monthly and cover a variety of skills and recipes. Volunteer facilitators create the menus for each class. Space is limited, so we do have a waitlist for classes. Make sure that you receive a confirmation email from our team before coming to a class.
This project aims to expand the Campus Food Bank's suite of programming, in order to combat food insecurity in a variety of ways. Our organization has provided food hampers to the campus community for over 25 years, so extending our food education and access capabilities is a natural next step for us.
