Participants in our cooking classes work through simple, tasty recipes with the help of food bank volunteers. These classes are a chance to socialize, improve on cooking skills and learn some new recipes! At the end of each event, everyone sits down together to eat the meals that we prepare. Classes cover a variety of skills and recipes, and volunteer facilitators create the menus for each class. 

Sign ups will be available two weeks before each class date, through the sign up link on this page. Classes are first come first serve and new participants will be given priority over returning sign ups. This way more people get a chance to participate in the cooking community that we are building. Returners are still welcome to sign up though, and we appreciate your flexibility with this new programming! Space is limited, so we do have a wait list for classes. Make sure that you receive a  confirmation email from our team before coming to a class. 

This program is part of the Campus Food Bank's suite of food support programming, designed to combat food insecurity in a variety of ways. Our organization has provided food hampers to the campus community for over 25 years, so extending our food education and access capabilities was a natural next step for us.
