Fresh Routes Mobile Market has been suspended temporarily. We will update this page as soon as the program returns to campus!
What is Fresh Routes?
Fresh Routes is a mobile grocery store that offers fresh, low cost, products including fruits and vegetables, bread and eggs depending on supplies.
They are a not-for-profit social enterprise that is focused on creating new, innovative ways of providing healthy and affordable food to as many Canadians as possible — especially those who need it most like students.
Their Mobile Grocery Stores bring healthy, fresh, and affordable food into neighbourhoods facing barriers — allowing choice, maintaining dignity, and building community.
Their mission is to ensure that everyone has access to affordable, nutritious food and is informed to make healthy decisions and live a healthy life!
U of A's Fresh Routes Market is sponsored by the Coca-Cola University of Alberta Sustainability Fund from the Single Source Cold Beverage Agreement.
Visitors to the Campus Food Bank office will be asked to show their Campus Ready pass. Find more details on how to get this pass at https://www.ualberta.ca/covid-19/vaccinations-testing/campus-ready.html
