Thank You for Your Interest and Support in the PowerPlay Cup!

Registration Information for the 2020 PPC will be updated here in the fall. 

This year marks our thirteenth annual tournament, which will be held on March 23rd from 11 A.M. to 6 P.M at the Universiade Pavilion, more commonly known as the Butterdome. All proceeds from the tournament will go towards the University of Alberta Campus Food Bank to purchase non-perishables, perishables, and toiletries for the over 2500 clients we serve. 

The futsal tournament is held in a round robin style. The top team will walk away with the Power Play Cup, and the top three teams will take home medals. There are also lots of wonderful prizes to be won for the competing teams!

How Can You Participate?

  • Register a team to compete for the Power Play Cup! 
    • There are three things you need to register a team:
      • Have a team of 8-15 people who are looking for a fun day of futsal
      • As a team, raise a minimum of $300. We will provide teams with fundraising info packages full of tips on how to raise that money.
      • Review the rules and sign the rule book to keep the competition clear, safe and friendly. 
  • Drop by the tournament and cheer on the teams!
    • Bring a non-perishable donation and watch some futsal!
  • Come to our afterparty!
    • Can't make it to the tournament itself? Come to Hudson's on Whyte Ave from 8-10pm. 
    • We will be selling tickets for our after party starting in February for $5 (good for priority entrance and $5 off a drink). All proceeds from ticket sales go directly to the CFB.
