About

The goal of the supplementary grocery program is to provide free of cost groceries to individuals who are experiencing difficulty affording groceries. 

  • We support members of the UofA community, including students, staff and recent alumni. 

  • We recently switched from a food hamper model to a grocery store where clients can shop for themselves. 

  • The supplementary grocery program is meant to provide roughly 1 week’s worth of groceries. 

  • Clients can access our service as often as every 2 weeks. 

  • If you require accessibility accommodations to register as a client or shop for food, please email info@campusfoodbank.com or call us at 780-492-8677.

Client data is never shared with any other agencies, the U of A, or any levels of government. We share anonymized visit data once annually with Food Banks Canada for their annual HungerCount report.

Pick-up Hours & Location

We are currently experiencing a large increase in clients. If there are no available appointments and you have urgent food needs please call or email us to see if we can squeeze you in.

Parking is available free of charge to clients and can be booked online. Please email or call the office if you encounter issues or receive a ticket while parked in the CFB spot.
