PLEASE NOTE: As of April 20th, 2020, the Campus Food Bank has moved our operations to remote (phone) appointments and food hamper deliveries. Please consult the message above before placing your appointment.
*For appointments for Wednesday, April 15th or Thursday, April 16th: You can email email@example.com or use the regular form. Select the "Hamper Pick Up" Option in the form.
In order to access hamper services and hamper requests, you must first register in with the Campus Food Bank. This appointment must be booked through our website (see red Request button below).
Registration takes place via phone, with one of the Campus Food Bank staff members. A valid ONEcard is required to access the hamper program. ID is required for each member of the household sharing the hamper. You will be required to provide information about your relationship to the University Community, your source(s) of income, basic demographic information, as well as your dietary needs. All information is used for statistical purposes and will not be shared. The process takes about 20-30 minutes and is completely confidential.
Once registered, you can receive a food hamper via delivery. We expect hampers to come to you within 1-2 weeks of your registration.
You will also be referred to other services that are appropriate to your situation. As a client, we encourage you to access these referred services.
Please be aware that only individuals affiliated with the University of Alberta such as students, staff, or alumni who have graduated within five (5) years may access our services (a OneCard is required). Proof of identification is required upon registration.
Registered users may request an additional food hamper up to a maximum of once every two weeks.
