Plant a Row for the CFB
Love working in your garden?
Save a row for the CFB - We love fresh garden produce!
Gardeners, did you know that the Campus Food Bank accepts fresh produce from home gardens?
Each week we give out hundreds of pounds of produce, so if your garden has some extra space, why not fill it with produce for the Campus Food Bank!

How it works:
-
You can if you want. Or you can surprise when your harvest is ready! There is no need to tell us before you begin planting, but telling your friends about what you are doing is a great idea. The more the merrier!
-
Whatever you want to share with our community; we accept ALL kinds of produce! But our community particularly loves cucumbers, leafy greens, tomatoes, and beans.
-
Small-scale donations: If you have just a few grocery bags of fresh produce, you can drop it off at our office in SUB 1-81 from 10:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday through Saturday. We are closed the weekends of statutory holidays, and the week of June 30 - July 6. You can always call us at (780) 492-8677 if you want to make sure we are open.
Large-scale Donations: If you have more than a few bags of fresh produce to donate, please email info@campusfoodbank.com to arrange a drop-off time with us. This way, we can help you bring your produce in and ensure that we have space for it. Directions to our loading dock can be found here.
-
No need to wash your produce beforehand, our community members can take care of that. Just make sure that the produce is in good enough condition that you would be comfortable eating it yourself.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept home-canned or preserved produce, so bring it in fresh!
