While all donations are valued, monetary donations are highly encouraged since they allow us flexibility to purchase what is most needed at a certain time. Monetary donations can be dropped off during office hours or mailed. If you are donating by cheque, please write it to “Campus Food Bank.”
Tax Receipts can be issued for a minimum donation of $20. Every donation helps our mission to fight hunger on the University of Alberta campus.

While all food and toiletry donations are very appreciated, the most needed non-perishable items are:
canned meats (eg. tuna)
canned fruits and vegetables
beans (without sauce)
whole wheat pasta
rolled oats (instant oats)
Perishable Food Donations
To arrange the donation of perishable food items, please call (780) 492-8677 and ask to speak to the Executive Director. Feel free to plant an extra row in your garden for us this season, as we do accept fresh produce.
Note:For safety reasons, we cannot redistribute homemade products or open food products.
We also greatly appreciate donations of reusable bags.
Hosting an Event?
Request donations to the Campus Food Bank from your attendees! We can supply donation boxes and secure monetary jars for events with some notice. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to coordinate.
