Grocery Buses are not running for the Fall 2020 term, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Sign up for the CFB Programs Newsletter red button on the right) to be updated when this program returns.
The grocery bus program picks students up in the parking lot behind HUB Mall (near the parking lot HUB Mall entrance) and drop you off at the Superstore on Gateway Boulevard, T&T Supermarket or at some Specialty Stores on 34th Avenue (Spice Centre, Halal Meat Shops, etc). We will then bring you and your groceries back to campus. This is a great way to stock up on groceries, meet new people and have a fun bus ride!
This program is part of the Campus Food Bank's suite of food support programming, designed to combat food insecurity in a variety of ways. Our organization has provided food hampers to the campus community for over 25 years, so extending our food education and access capabilities was a natural next step for us.
