Garden Coordinator (Part-Time, Short-Term Contract)
Campus Food Bank is growing. As we expand our operations, including our on-site garden and partnerships with community growers, we’re looking for a Garden Coordinator to help increase access to fresh, local produce for students.
About the Role
The Garden Coordinator supports our garden programs by helping grow, harvest, and distribute fresh produce. This role combines hands-on gardening, volunteer coordination, and community engagement.
You will:
Maintain our on-site garden space
Coordinate volunteer shifts and support activities at Prairie Urban Farm
Help harvest and transport produce to Campus Food Bank
Track garden outputs and contributions
Support student engagement through garden activities and outreach
Who We’re Looking For
This role is ideal for a current post-secondary student who enjoys working outdoors, collaborating with others, and contributing to food access in their community. Experience in gardening, volunteering, or community programs is an asset.
Position Details
Short-term contract (4–6 months)
Part-time (24 hours/week)
Some evening and weekend work required
Outdoor, hands-on work environment
