Stock the shelves of the Campus Food Bank through our annual food drive!
We are recruiting for Trick or TrEAT Volunteering! The Campus Food Bank is hosting its annual Halloween food drive “Trick-or-trEAT”! Volunteer for a chance to relive your childhood trick or treating days and to support the Campus Food Bank. We are seeking volunteers for three positions with this event (door-to-door, driver, and sorter volunteers). Trick or TrEAT will be held on Saturday, October 28 from 12-5pm.
Information for houses in Belgravia, Garneau, McKernan, Queen Alexandra, and Windsor Park
Friendly volunteers will be going door-to-door on October 28 starting at noon, in the neighbourhoods of Belgravia, Garneau, McKernan, Queen Alexandra, and Windsor Park. Please leave your food donations on your porch by noon if you don’t want the volunteers to knock on your door. Thank you for helping hungry students focus on their studies!
Campus Food Bank’s most needed items:
-bulk cereal, rice, oats, pasta
-canned tuna, beans, other protein
-canned tomato sauce
-readymade meals such as canned chili, noodles, ramen
-sanitary pads, tampons
-vegan and gluten-free foods
-diapers, baby formula
-unopened shampoo, body wash
We also greatly appreciate donations of egg cartons and reusable bags.
